Constructed a new factory in Yamanecho, Koriyama City. Aimed to expand sales from mainly within the prefecture to outside the prefecture. |
1976 |
Moved the factory to the newly established Koriyama Food Industry Park from Yamanecho. At this time, pioneering TV commercials were aired, featuring illustrations by actors Ichiro Arishima and Isao Kojima, promoting the company as a regional food manufacturer. The president himself appeared on screen to promote the products. |
August,1986 |
The factory was flooded due to heavy rain from Typhoon No. 10, but production resumed two weeks later. Subsequently, further enhancement of product composition was pursued, and the groundbreaking seasoning for quick pickles was developed. Kimchi, Menma, and Zasai, which are now staples, were introduced ahead of other companies and quickly brought to the market. |
